The Challenge
The omniMove wheel system enables autonomous mobile platforms to move freely in any direction, rotating, gliding, and navigating with pinpoint accuracy. The challenge was to explain this highly technical capability to a broad industrial audience, ranging from engineers to plant managers. KUKA needed a film that could simplify this innovative engineering while maintaining a premium, professional look and feel. The goal: to make complex mechanics instantly understandable without sacrificing visual sophistication.

The Solution
To convey the omniMove system’s technical precision and flexibility, we developed a custom visual approach rooted in minimalism, clarity, and purposeful motion. The film was fully animated in 3D, with a clean, UI-inspired environment that mirrored the control and fluidity of omniMove’s 360° navigation. We illustrated key capabilities such as zero turning radius, multi-ton load transport, and seamless directional shifts through smooth camera paths, precise object movement, and stripped-down industrial geometry. This aesthetic, built on simplicity and spatial logic, helped demystify a complex technology while aligning with KUKA’s innovation-first brand identity.
